Poultry orthosis

I dreamt I visited a revalidation barn in Eastern Europe.  Cattle and poultry were walking up and down with all sorts of primitive orthoses. This one was used for a chicken with broken toes. The toes rested between the tines of the fork and the tea-strainer took care of a roll-over of the claw.
