Fig flesh

Today's harvest. Wasps crawl into the fig and lay eggs. As the fig develops the eggs hatch and develop into larvae. After seeing this warm and juicy flesh, I can imagine wiggling around in there must be very nice. But.... can you serve figs to vegetarians?
